Al Mukhtara Group operates chain of hotels in the Central Madinah, Medina area. They focus more in comfort rather than luxury, so they appeal as economy accommodations. The group prioritizes services such as free shuttle, dry cleaning, and medical service. They certainly are not taking the comfort provision lightly. However, they received one controversial Trip Advisor review that seems to debunk all these services. A guest expressed how the hotel staff was “rude and obnoxious” that they would not even offer help. According to him, he was made to feel like a “worthless uninvited guest”. He also reported the existence of insects in the toilet and broken door handles that were not fixed even after multiple calls. He also noted that the beds were already broken yet did not even seem to matter

This goes all the way back in 2015. However, the company bounced back from that. Taking Trip Advisor as one of their top platforms for getting bookings, Al Mukhtara Group did a 360-degree makeover for their operations, improving the said parts pointed out by that particular guest. Until now, the review still pops out of the first Google search page, which motivates the group more to integrate all winning hospitality elements into their management.
