Kagua Airport- AGK

Kagua Airport is a public airport located in the city of Kagua, Papua New Guinea. There are several airports located near Kagua. Mendi Airport, Komo-Manda Airport and Pangia Airport is within less than 25 miles away from the AGK Airport. The airport lies 5350 feet above mean sea level and serves the nearby areas of Porani, Kagua, Iaru, Iame, Pauoni, Tumbarere, Tagoma, Mungiri and Tururi. This small airport serves domestic and international flights to several destinations in Papua New Guinea.

Best Time to Visit

There are no scheduled passenger flights served in the airport. Most of the aircraft movements served in Kagua Airport are on demand flights and chartered flights. Single Engine Turbo-prop aircrafts are the most common type of air crafts served in this airport. The airport is located within a disputed territory, thus making it a less preferred mode of transportation in the region. For recreational activities around the area, you can head to Kagua where several museums and galleries are featured. Scuba diving and other water activities can also be enjoyed in this area.
