Alliance Municipal Airport is a public airport located three miles south of the main city center of Alliance, Nebraska. AIA-Alliance Municipal is owned by the City of Alliance and serves domestic flights from the city to major cities around America. Denver Air Connection is one of the airlines that offer scheduled passenger flights to Denver, from Alliance. The Essential Air Service program is the one that subsidized these flights. In 2008, there were a total of 1,786 passengers traffic served in the airport. It sits in an elevation of 1,198 meters above mean sea level and covers a total area of 3,500 hectares.
