The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, AVP, is based in Pittston Township, Pennsylvania. The airport lies in between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. It is operated and owned by the Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties and is the fifth biggest airport in Pennsylvania.
