Bled: Home of the Great Glacial Lake Bled and Bled Castle
A city known to be the home of the best vanilla and cream pastry, Bled is a Slovenian town which is located at the foot of Karawanks Mountain Ranger that borders Austria. The origin of the name is unknown, but the German name of it “Veldes” was borrowed from Old Slovene “Beld”, or from a pre-Slavic source.
