The Bob Devaney Sports Center is the University of Nebraska's sports complex located in Lincoln, Nebraska. This sports complex includes seats for 7,907 people, a 1,000-seat in the swimming and diving arena, and a 5,000-seat in the track and field facility. Bob Devaney Sports Center is named after Nebraska's popular football coach named Bob Devaney for its contribution in the sports industry. The sports center was first opened in March 1976 and was used for the Nebraska Boys Basketball Tournament. This is also home to Nebraska Cornhusker's gymnastics, volleyball and wrestling teams.
One of the most popular attractions is the Nebraska State Capitol, located in downtown Lincoln and nicknamed as the Tower of the Plains. This capitol was designated as a National Historic Landmark by the National Park Service in 1976.
