Bologna is the capital city of the Emilia-Romagna region located in northern Italy. It is located between Florence and Venice and often overlooked by tourists who go on the Rome, Florence, Venice route. March and October are the perfect times to visit the beautiful city of Bologna, Italy. The summer season can be very hot and the sun harsh on the skin. Visitors may also visit the city in all its Christmas glory in December but expect a cold weather but manageable enough by wearing a scarf, coat, and boots.
