Brive-Souillac Airport – BE Brive
Situated 7 nautical miles south of Brive-la-Gaillarde, Brive–Souillac Airport is a public airport serving both domestic and international flights. Locally known as Aeroport de Brive – Vallee de la Dordogne, it acts as the main entry point for tourists heading to Dordogne as well as nearby cities of Brive-la-Gaillarde, France. Dordogne is located at the heart of southwest France. With its beautiful and serene landscapes, the number of travelers passing through the airport keeps on increasing each year.
Best Time to Visit
Established in 2010, Brive-Souillac Airport replaced the older airport Brive-La Roche Airport. All airlines that were catering to the old airport were transferred to this new airport. Currently, BVE Airport is being served by 2 aircraft, HOP!, which provides regular flight schedule to Paris and seasonal schedule to Ajaccio and Lyon, while Ryanair provides regular flight schedule to Porto and seasonal schedule to London-Stansted. The airport does not operate 24 hours and is only open from 0600H until 2200H, daily. Passengers that are planning to travel to Montignac will find it easy to look for local transportation, as there are car rental booths and taxi stand that is readily available outside the terminal.
