Cetara: Cerulean Coast of Calmness
Cetara, Italy, nearby the Amalfi Coast, sits in the region of Campania, province of Salerno. Back in the year 880, the town was primarily a settlement area for armed Muslims and fishermen. Despite the town being centrally located near the sea, it is one of the off-the-beaten tracks in the entire country. Be warned that very little English is spoken in the area but you will enjoy the peacefulness surrounding it.
Best Time to Visit
The Mediterranean climate that prevails over at Cetara allows you to visit the town anytime of the year. While it is during summer when the weather is most favorable and ideal to go for a swim, it is also the peak tourist season when Cetara IT hotels are more expensive than usual. Avoid the large crowds and pricey rates when you come a little earlier during spring season. On an important note, the Days of the Blue Fish is an ancient tradition celebrated August of every year.
