City International Convention Center is a reputable event complex situated in the core of the International City in Lyon, France. Designed by Renzo Piano who took inspiration from the Gallo-Roman construction, the center takes pride in its amphitheater featuring a 180-degree semi-circular hall that is unparalleled in Europe. The facility offers a 24,000-square-meter modular event space with three amphitheaters that can accommodate 300, 900, and 3000 people, and 35 well-equipped meeting rooms that have a seating capacity ranging from 50 to 450. Seminars, trade fairs, gala dinners, and evening receptions are only some of the events held at the venue.
Each year, City International Convention Center hosts over 300 events, including crucial international conferences. Also, the facility stands close to several hotels. The Crowne Plaza Lyon - Cite Internationale and Marriott Lyon Cité Internationale can be reached by foot within a few minutes from the center. Besides well-appointed rooms, these two properties also provide direct access to the bus stop and to Tete d'Or Park, which is the most prominent and biggest park in Lyon as it features a lake, small zoo, and sports facilities.
