Faribault, A Small Town with a Big Personality
Fondly called as “Faribo,” Faribault, Minnesota is part of the Rice County and also serves as its county seat. It is among one of the most historic towns in the state as there were settlement and communities in the area even before Minnesota became a US territory. Best Time to Visit
The city has a fair share of cold and warm months throughout the year, half of it with a lower temperature than the other half. If you are into outdoor activities, the best times to travel is from mid-May to late September. Faribault, MN sees an increase in tourist population in April, but there are also pretty thick crowds come August when the town celebrates their Annual Pet Parade and Blue Collar BBQ & Art Fest. The least busy month for the city is in November when the Faribault, MN hotels and airfare are at their minimum.

You can visit the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour which happens to be the first ever Episcopal church in the US built as a cathedral.
