Geelong Airport serves Geelong, Australia specifically in Mount Duneed, Victoria. It was a public airfield relatively small compared to other airfields and was built to only handle small and light aircrafts. It served flights for private aircrafts and scenic purposes. GEX-Geelong Airport had two runways: one was made of gravel while the other is made of asphalt. The two runways had a measurement 2,542 feet and 3,559 feet in length. The site was not only used for scenic and private flights, it also had wind and weather equipment, thus, the airport was used to record wind and weather measurements. There are transport options from the airport to the city proper. The airport is surrounded by many cities like Vermont South, Werribee, West Melbourne, Yarraville and many others. It stopped operations in 2011.

Barwon Valley Lodge features fine-looking gum trees near the Barwon River. All three hotels are also accessible to other scenic and famous spots.
