Perales Airport - IBE Perales
Perales Airport is a public airport in Ibague, Colombia in the Tolima Department area. The airport is a short 5.6 miles away from the city. It is under the management of the Aerocivil, a government agency that regulates the aviation industry as well as manages the Colombian airspace. It has an elevation of 914 meters above mean sea level and just underwent a major renovation last June 2018. The airport has a non-directional beacon near the threshold of Runway 32.
Best Time to Visit
IBE-Perales Airport currently serves flights to destinations such as Bogota, Cali and Medellin -EOH. Avianca Airlines and EasyFly are the two airlines that currently has scheduled flights in the airport. In December 2019, flights to Cartagena will be served in the airport via EasyFly. The Perales Airport has a single runway that is 14/32 in direction, covered in asphalt and 1,800 meters long. Armenia, located in the Quindo Department is one of the nearby cities you can explore near the IBE Airport. It is beautifully framed by the Andes Mountains and is loved for its triangular-shaped cathedrals such as the La Inmaculada Concepcion.
