Founded in 1957, the company is located in Yokkaichi City Mie Prefecture with operations across Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa. It has a total capital of ¥1.9 billion and is publicly listed at the Tokyo Stock Exchange Market. 

The company currently headed by Chairman and Director Kiyoshi Matsui has annual consolidated sales of ¥27.1 billion ($249.19b). Green KK Hotel bills itself as the only mid-price hotel that successfully developed through the concerted efforts between global brands in over 7,000 hotels in 40 countries with the ‘Choice Hotels’ brand.
