Jamestown, Rhode Island is a town located in Newport County inside Conanicut Island. The town is home to the uninhabited regions of the Gould Island and the Dutch Island. Interestingly, there is only one state highway located in the region - Rhode Island Route 138. As early as 1903, there were already nine Jamestown, RI hotels already available in the area. The Otis Air National Guard Base (FMH) in Falmouth is the nearest airport that serves the town.

It would be ideal to head to Jamestown during the months of March to May during the end of spring season through the start of autumn. The Newport Folk Festival during the month of July and the Annual WINEterfest during February are some of the festivals and events you may want to experience while visiting the region.
