McCarran International Airport – LAS Las Vegas
McCarran International Airport is both a public and military airport in the Las Vegas Valley in Paradise, Nevada. It is 5 miles south of downtown Las Vegas and is owned by the Clark County. The airport is named after U.S. Senator Pat McCarren, who has significant contributions to the aviation development of Las Vegas and the entire United States. The airport was open for flights in 1940 and has continuously improved and expanded over the years making its technologies up to date. Nearby cities of LAS Airport are Las Vegas, Spring Valley and Arden.

McCarran International Airport has two passenger terminals and four concrete runways with nonstop flights to North America, Asia and Europe. Terminal 3 is intended for international and some domestic flights in the airport. It also has three tramlines Green, Blue and Red lines connecting the terminals to the gates. Based on 2018 statistics, the airport welcomed of 49 million passengers. Its top domestic destinations are Los Angeles, Denver, San Francisco, Seattle/Tacoma and Dallas/Fort Worth. The airport offers a small parking lot for aircraft watching, helicopter and Janet Terminals, Marnell Air Cargo Center and Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum.
