Los Silos: A Sleepy Coastal Town of Religion and History
Found in the northwest section of the Tenerife island, Los Silos, Spain is a cozy and laid back community. While there are no loud beach parties in the town, guests are rewarded with a simple and comfortable stay. Los Silos’ economy revolves around the production of cereals, potatoes, bananas, and wine, but there are also several hotels and accommodations in the area for incoming tourists.
Best Time to Visit
September is among the best months to come to Los Silos not only because of the discounted Los Silos, Spain hotels, but also because of the Patron Festivities of Nuestra Señora de La Luz held in the first week of the month. This celebration is dedicated to the Virgen de la Luz, the town’s patron saint. Tourists often come to the city to witness the event, although most do not stay for long.
