Known internationally by its IATA airport code PAD, Paderborn Lippstadt Airport is a public-use airport operated by the Flughafen Paderborn/Lippstadt GmbH. It is considered as a minor international airport and serves the cities of Lippstadt and Paderborn, Germany, although its actual site is located in Büren, about 18 kilometers from the city center of Paderborn.

PAD-Paderborn Lippstadt Airport was established in 1971, but it was only in 2006 when the airfield opened a hotel and conference center.Its passenger terminal features a restaurant, several travel agencies, a visitors deck, and some car rental agencies as well. The airport’s apron, on the other hand,can house mid-sized aircraft the likes of Airbus A320. From Paderborn Lippstadt Airport, feel free to come by the neighboring towns of Willingen, Needar, and Stryck.
