Paterna: Quiet Town with Rich History
Paterna, Spain is a municipality that is located within Valencia, and is seated right at the left bank of Turia River. The area is known for having been inhabited since way back in the Neolithic times, mainly due to its riverside location. It was first named “Paternus” which translates “of the father” in Latin.
