Siem Reap International Airport – REP Siem Reap
The Siem Reap International Airport is an airport that serves the city of Siem Reap in Cambodia. It is the second busiest airport in the country next to Phnom Penh International Airport. Although Siem Reap is not the capital city of Cambodia, its airport has more than 5 million passengers passing through its gates every year because of the Angkor Wat, the biggest and oldest religious monument in the world. Siem Reap International Airport lies on a 200 hectare of land. It has two terminals for domestic and international flights. The airport has a lot of restaurants and shops to choose from. Mainly, they are located in the international terminal. There are a bookstore and a wide range of souvenir shops that offer sandstone sculptures, silk items, pieces of jewelry, and clothes. Unfortunately for travelers who have to wait till midnight or a day for their next flight, the Siem Reap International Airport is only open until 0100H.
