Rivercenter Mall is along the famous River Walk area of San Antonio, Texas. It features over a hundred establishments for entertainment. Within its premises is the Grand Marriot Hotel that is connected to the mall via a bridge. One can experience the mix of the positive vibe of downtown and historic old-world charm. Currently, it is known as Shops at Rivercenter. Top establishments include Macy’s and H&M. In 1871, the St Joseph’s Catholic Church was considered the landmark in the area; however, it was sold in 1945 to Joske’s Department Store. Shops at Rivercenter was opened to the public in 1988. The first shops include Lord’s & Taylor Department Store, Dillards and IMAX Theater. During the development of the downtown area, the Riverwalk connects to Rivercenter lagoon.
