San Salvador: A Culturally Rich City in Latin America
San Salvador is the capital city of El Salvador and is also the most populous. It is the center for the city’s politics, culture, education, and finance. It is considered a “beta” global city and is home to many of the country’s legislative offices. San Salvador has a tropical wet and dry climate, but the city is pretty warm to hot all throughout the year. It may be best to visit when the temperature cools down usually around November to February. The hottest months in the city are April and May.
