Sanilhac: Town of Pines
Sanilhac, France is a small rural town in South Ardeche. The town is surrounded by a pine forest. Tourists love the unspoiled setting that is enchanting and authentic. Sanilac is located in the highest area of Cevennes Ardeche. It is part of Largentiere town and adjacent to a lot of municipalities like Largentiere and Joyeuse. A large town is located in the northeast side of Sanilhac and that is the Aubenas. As an added charm to this quaint city, there is a river that traverses the town. There are villages that scattered around the town and it is characterized by hamlets.

Just like other cities in France, the best time to visit Sanilhac is from April to October. The town is enjoying mild temperatures characterized by the Mediterranean climate. It is also considered the peak months for tourism. Most Sanilhac hotels are fully booked and a bit expensive compared to normal.

The Cave of Pont D’ Arc is the largest in the world. One can discover the treasures of the old town. It is also known as the gateway to the gorge areas.
