Suphan Buri, Thailand is a central province that is said to have been inhabited first during the Dvaravati period. At the time, it was known as “Meuang Thawarawadi Si Suphannaphumi”. Tourists should see Banharn-Jamsai Tower, the country’s tallest tower, when in the province. It was named after former Prime Minister Banham Silpa-archa and Jamsai Silpa-archa, his wife. Dragon Descendants Museum is also a must-see. It was built to honor the diplomatic ties between Thailand and China. As such, it showcases the rich history of the Chinese civilization over the past 5,000 years or so.
