Arthur Napoleon Raymond Robinson International Airport, also known as A.N.R Robinsons International Airport is one of the international airports in Scarborough, Trinidad and Tobago. The airport earlier took the name Crown Point International Airport and located on the southwestern tip of the island of Tobago. TAB-Crown Point Intl. is conveniently within walking distance to the stunning beaches of the island. It was commissioned in December 1940 after a landing strip 670 meters long was built on the island.
Best Time to Visit
The TAB-Crown Point Intl. was upgraded in the 1980s to be able to accommodate a new terminal building to serve passengers better. Additional developments were commenced and were eventually completed by 1992. By this time, the airport is now capable of accommodating wide-bodied aircrafts. Further expansions are still being integrated to the airport to be able to include additional jet bridges and to the terminal. Better services and bigger facilities are to be implemented in the airport. Nearby cities surrounding the area includes Crown Point and Bon Accord Village.
