Terrasini is a town in Palermo, Italy. It is part of the metropolitan city of Sicily Island. The name of Terrasini, IT was a morphology of the Latin Phrase “Terra Sinus” which literally means land in the gulf. The town has been in existence since the paleolithic times with very prominent roman settlements around the area. Although it was only in 1936 by King Ferdinand II that the modern town was formed from the commune of small villages. The current town of Terrasini, IT is a meeting of history and modernization where ruins co-exist with the bustling ports and modernized metro.
