Nestled among the gorgeous countryside of Reading, England, and situated in over 100-acre of woodland, the UK Wolf Centre provides a valuable wolf conservation center and sanctuary for exiled wolves. The center was founded by businessman Roger Palmer in 1995, who was supported by Erich Klinghammer, an ethologist. It is currently home to ten wolves, namely Tala, Nuka, Motomo, Tundra, Massak, Torak, Sikko, Mosi, and Pukak. UK Wolf Centre has ten ambassador wolves, in which nine are socialized wolves. They are taken for walks most weekends in exposed farmland throughout the center and along with the members of the center and the public.

If you want to stay close to the UK Wolf Centre, there is an array of affordable hotels and accommodations in the area. Featuring water facilities, The Bull Standford Dingley offers accommodation with a restaurant, a bar, and a shared lounge. Cycling and windsurfing are popular activities in the area. The Hinds Head is also a great place to stay, which is set in an attractive red brick building that dates back to the 1650's. An onsite restaurant is also available.
