Considered as one of the principal cities in the surrounding micropolitan area of the Obion County in Tennessee and the Fulton County in Kentucky, Union City has a rich historical story to share to its tourists and growing locals. It was one of the sites of an American Civil War battle back in March 1864. Home to the iconic tire company, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and the Goodyear Tire Plant, this region mainly had this industry as the main source of income in the region.
