Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) serves the city of Venice, Italy and is the third busiest airport in the country connecting more than 13 million travelers yearly to Venice's iconic canals and centuries-old architecture. Situated 13.8 nauticalkilometers from the city, itoperates flights to many major European cities as well as some long-haul routes to and from North America, South Korea and the Middle East. The airport is named after Italian explorer Marco Polo and is a base for two European budget airlines.

VCE-Venice Marco Polo Airport is easy to navigate having a single terminal with three floors. The arrivals area is on the ground floor and departure gates are on the second floor consisting of 70 check-in desks. There are separate departure gates for Schengen and non-Schengen flights. On the third floor of the terminal are airline offices. In 2017, the terminal opened its newly extended and refurbished facilities with more phases of expansion in the works. The airport serves towns in the Metropolitan City of Venice like Camponogara and Fiesso d'Artico.
