Vila Real Airport – VRL
Vila Real Airport is a public-use airfield found four kilometers from the southeastern side of the city of Vila Real, Portugal, the capital city of the district of Vila Real. It is internationally recognized by its International Air Transport Association (IATA) code VRL and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) code LPVR.

The airfield resides at an altitude of 558 meters above the mean sea level. Its asphalt-paved runway, known as 02/20, measures over 940 meters in length. There is currently one airline serving Vila Real Airport, namely Sevenair, a regional airline based in Lisbon. Sevenair connects Vila Real to the cities of Portimão, Lisbon-Cascais, Viseu, and Bragança. While you’re in the area, you can also try visiting the neighboring towns of Ribeira and Sebolido.
