Wadi Rum, Jordan: Touring Around the Valley of Sands’ Great Sites
Favourite Hollywood movie location, Wadi Rum, Jordan had been the background setting of twelve Hollywood movies. It is the largest wadi (valley) in Jordan. Tourism in Wadi Rum was first started during the filming of Lawrence of Arabia. The area is a favourite destination for tourists especially trekkers and climbers. Tourists are increasing every year and it became one of Jordan’s most important tourist destinations. The Electronic Festival in the dessert of Wadi Rum is a big event in the region. The festival will host large name in music around the world as well as local talents to integrate local tradition with the visitors celebrated in March.

Many tourists love hiking through the Burdah Rock Bridge, one of the best attractions in Wadi Rum. It is a rock bridge 300 meters off the ground. Hiking to reach the rock bridge is quite challenging yet it is so enjoying.
