Located six nautical miles west of the central business district, the Alpena County Regional Airport (APN) in Alpena, Michigan, United States, straddles the boundary between the town of Maple Ridge on the north and the town of Wilson in the south. The county-owned, public-use, joint military airport is mostly operating for general aviation. The airport covers an area of 3,084 acres with two concrete runways. The busiest route for domestic flights out of APN is to Detroit, Michigan with a total of 8,750 passengers recorded from 2016 to 2017.

The APN-Alpena County Regional Airport in Alpena, Michigan hosts the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center – the host unit of the Michigan Air National Guard’s Alpena Air National Guard’s Alpena Air National Guard Base.
