Del Norte Regional Airport Airport – CEC Crescent
Del Norte County Regional Airport (CEC) is also referred to as Jack McNamara Field. This public airport is owned by the Border Coast Regional Airport Authority and is located 3 miles from Crescent City, California in Del Norte County. CEC operates one flight each day with flights to Oakland via Contour Airlines. Jack McNamara Field was used in World War II and was formerly known as Crescent City Outlying Field, which became a support to the Naval Air Station Alameda.

In 1950, Southwest Airways started flights to San Francisco and by 1964, Pacific Air Lines also began flights to the same destination with non-stop flights to Portland. In 1968, Pacific Air Lines joined with other airlines including West Coast Airlines and Bonanza Air Lines to form a new airline known as Air West that was later changed to Hughes Airwest. However, Airwest ceased its operations at the aerodrome in 1980.
In 2018, Contour Airlines announced that the airline would begin flying between Crescent City and Oakland. This became the first time the city has scheduled passenger flights via jet aircraft.
