Coggia: A Home of A Breathtakingly Beautiful Scenery.
Coggia is a community under the department of Corse-du-Sud, Corsica Island, France. It has a land area of 33.31 km sq. with a population of 720 people as of 2016. One fact about Corsica is it’s the 4th largest island in the Mediterranean Sea that is located between the west and north coast of Italy yet is under the country of France.
Best Time to Visit
If you are up to a walk for exploration it is good during May, June, and September because the weather’s not too hot and not too crowded. If you’re up to swimming you can visit during July and August. If you want to enjoy the place and meet new people, it is not commendable to visit from November to March because it is not as lively as the other months and a few tourists only visit the place. You can stay at a 3-star classic colorful Hotel le Saint-Jean that offers affordable accommodation with great amenities.

If you are staying at Résidence Colombara, which is a cheap apartment hotel and decided to do some trekking experience, you can visit Calanche de Piana,which is 27 minutes away. It is a 300 meters cliff above the Mediterranean Sea where you can also see the Gulf Portland and Piana Village. You can also visit the breathtaking river valley Gorges de Spelunca,which is an hour away from the hotel. It is located at East Porto where you can also see different mountains along the way.
