Dandong Langtou Airport – DDG Airport
Dandong Langtou Airport is a public airport located in Dandong, Liaoning, China. It serves the city of Dandong and is operated by the Civil Aviation Administration of China. Dandong is a popular city because of its vicinity to North Korea. It is also known as the largest border city in the country.
Best Time to Visit
Also known as DDG Airport, it occupies land that is at an elevation of 30 feet above mean sea level. It has one concrete runway measuring 8,530 feet. Several airlines offer scheduled flight services from the airport including Air China, Air Koryo, China Southern Airlines, and Shanghai Airlines. Destinations offered by these airlines include Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Qingdao, and Yantai. For a time, the airport was shut down for a runway overhaul. The airport was first shut down on May 20, 2018 and was expected to reopen on November, but was postponed to January 30, 2019. Aside from Dandong, Kuandian and Kuandian County benefit from the flight services at the DDG.
