The airport’s history dates back to 1948. It has served as the home to the Quad City Air Show which opened since 1987. Today, the DVN airport occupies a land area measuring 764 acres. The airport also has a pilot’s lounge, a business center, conference rooms, and a flight planning room as well. Recently, the airport also received a $63,000 grant for an environmental impact study from the US Department of Transportation.
