Kefalonia International Airport – EFL Airport
Situated on the island of Kefalonia, Greece, Kefalonia International Airport is also known as Anna Pollatou airport. The airport was established in 1971 to serve Leivathos, a former municipality of Kefalonia. In 1980, the airport constructed a new runway to accommodate the increasing number of aircraft traveling to and from the city. Kefalonia Airport is one of the 14 airports that are part of the privatization agreement under Fraport Greece. This privatization agreement is good for 40 years.
