East Midlands Airport-(EMA)
East Midlands Airport, in East Midlands, England is an international airport located 20 kilometers from Nottingham. The airport was originally built to serve the Royal Air Force station also known as the RAF Castle Donington during the early 1940s. Commercial flights were later on hosted at the airport when it became a civilian classified airport in 1965. EMA experienced a total of 5.6 million passengers in 2008 and is the major air cargo hub in the country after London Heathrow.
