Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas is renowned for its indoor arena that appears like a flying saucer. Inaugurated in 1968, it used to be a temporary home of the San Antonio Spurs. Between 2005 and 2007, it also served as the home of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Development League’s Fort Worth Flyers. 

Those looking for fun things to do in the area may visit Fort Worth Water Gardens. Established in 1974, it has 3 water pools and a terrace knoll that shields it from the rest of the city. For its unique characteristics, it is often called the “cooling oasis in the concrete jungle”. It was designed by architects John Burgee and Philip Johnson.
