Manas International Airportis located 16 miles north-northwest of the capital of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and serves as its main airport. It is located 27Km from Bishkek center. The airport was named after Kyrgyz hero, “Manas” which was suggested by a writer named Chinghiz Aitmatov.
