Fuerth: There’s A Lot to Love About this City
Fuerth, Germany is a small, charming city sandwiched between the Pegnitz and Rednitz rivers in Middle Franconia. Located only a few miles from Nuremberg, this historic city has more than a thousand notable monuments. Fuerth has survived several wars being only partly damaged from the destruction and has become one of the most beautiful cities to visit in Bavaria.
Best Time to Visit
Fuerth is best visited from May through September to take advantage of its pleasantly comfortable weather hovering in the low to mid-20s. Expect thick crowds and pricier Fuerth, DE hotels during the peak months of August, November and September especially around the time the city celebrates St. Michael’s Fair, a family festival attracting around two million guests from around the world. Tourists come in trickles in December although it is the least expensive month to travel to the city.

The city teems with places to visit and one of them is the Judisches Museum that showcases the vibrant Jewish heritage of the region. Another one is the Radio Museum of Fuerth featuring vintage radios, TVs & transmitters.
