Taizhou Luqiao Airport – HYN Luqiao
Formerly known as Huangyan Luqiao Airport, the Taizhou Luqiao Airport is a military and civil airport in the city of Huangyan, Taizhou, Zheijiang Province in China. When HYN Luqiao airport first began operations in 1955, it belonged to the People’s Liberation Army Navy and was exclusively used for military purposes. It was converted into a dual-use airport for both military and public use in 1987, then renamed Taizhou Luqiao Airport in 2008. To this day, many locals and tourists still refer to the airport by its old name.

The Taizhou Luqiao Airport consists of a single runway extending 2,500 meters long and 60 meters wide along with one terminal building. Serving Taizhou and surrounding cities, it can receive about 600,000 passengers every year. Nine different airlines serve the HYN Luqiao airport with a number of domestic destinations all across the country, including to Beijing, China via Beijing Capital International Airport. Baifen and Yantan are also served by the HYN.
