Kusatsu: Come and Relax Your Cares Away
The beautiful town of Kusatsu, Gunma is located in the Gunma Prefecture in Japan. It is home to some of the most famous hot spring resorts in the country. Located 1,200 meters above sea level, the waters here are heated by the Kusatsu-Shirane active volcano. Two inactive volcanos – Mount Tengu and Mount Motoshirane also help to heat the waters.
