North Platte Regional Airport – LBF
In the city of North Platte, Nebraska is a small regional airport called after the city name itself: North Platte Regional Airport. Its airport code of LBF comes from its name extension, Lee Bird Field, named after Lee Bird, a local resident from a prominent North Platte family and a training pilot who died during the World War I.
