Lewisburg: Visiting America’s Coolest Small Town
Lewisburg, WV is currently the county seat of Greenbrier County and was named after Andrew Lewis. He was a young surveyor that built a camp near the spring located in the regions' present day courthouse. This spring was also named after Lewis and has been known as Lewis Spring. At present, the city is known for its handmade jewelry stores, Blenko glassware and ceramic dinnerware. Home to the Tuckwiller Gallery and the Cooper Gallery, the region is rich in both traditional and contemporary art works.

June through the mid of September are the busiest time of the year to be in Lewisburg, West Virginia. There are plenty of tourists enjoying the sun and the warm weather in the region with plenty of local offerings and activities to do.
What to Do & Area Attractions
Live entertainment and performances can be enjoyed at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre. Originally, a tent was put up to be able to host performances in the area. The theatre was then transferred to the Actors Equity house, a refurbished department store, now converted to a theatre. Comedy acts, dancing, concerts and jazz performances are also held at the Greek-Revival Carnegie Hall. Meanwhile, the Lost World Caverns is a nature escape that brings you to a magical place, hidden at the heart of Lewisburg.
