Narathiwat Airport – NAW Airport
Narathiwat Airport is a public and military use airport located in Narathiwat, Thailand. It is operated by the country’s Department of Airports. It serves the province of Narathiwat and nearby provinces as well. There are only direct flights connecting NAW Airport to Bangkok with daily schedules as of the time being, but authorities are planning for major upgrades to the airport in the nearby future.

The airport sits on an elevation of 16 feet above mean sea level. It has one runway with an asphalt surface, and its 02/20 runway measures 8,202 feet long. As of 2016, the airport was able to handle as much as 241,721 passengers. Airlines that operate passenger service in the airport include Thai AirAsia, Thai Smile, and Thai Airways. Thai Airways operate flights to Jeddah and Medina only for Hajj. While Thai AirAsia and Thai Smile have direct flights to Bangkok-Don Mueang and Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi Airports. Aside from Narathiwat, residents from neighboring Bacho, Su-ngai Kolok, and Tak Bai also benefit from the airport.
