Changbaishan Airport – NBS Baishan, China
Considered as China's first forest tourism airport, the Changbaishan Airport (NBS) serves the city of Baishan and the tourist destination of Changbai Mountain scenic area in Jilin Province, China. The public-use airport is located in Changbai Mountain Songjiang FusongBaishan City County, Jilin Province. It opened only in August of 2008.

Changbaishan Airport has a terminal area of about 8900 square meters. Its medium-sized terminal is adequately equipped with amenities for the comfort and convenience of passengers. Its airside facilities, on the other hand, include 2 boarding bridges, runway that’s 2800 meters long which can accommodate aircraft like Boeing 737, Airbus 319, 321, 320 and other similar airplanes.At the same time, NBS airport features the latest safety air guide equipment. As of2015, the airport served 503,598 passengers with an aircraft movement numbering to 4,766. China’s major airlines operate several flights connecting the airport to destinations like Shanghai, Beijing, Shenyang and many more cities across the country. The picturesque city of Baishan in Jilin province is a favorite destination of travelers arriving at the airport while those visiting Songjianghe for nature trips only need to travel 30 minutes from the airport.
