Known locally as Aéroportd'Annecy–Meythet, Annecy – Haute-Savoie – Mont Blanc Airport is a public-use airport found no less than three kilometers away from the northwestern side of the city of Annecy, France. It is also between the communes of Metz-Tessy and Meythet, both of which are under the rule of the Haute-Savoiedépartement in the region of Rhône-Alpes. Annecy – Haute-Savoie – Mont Blanc Airport is currently operated by CCI de Haute Savoie and primarily serves the Annecy City, the biggest town in the département. The airfield goes by the IATA code of NCY and the ICAO code of LFLP.

The Annecy – Haute-Savoie – Mont Blanc Airport was constructed in January 1946 as commissioned by the Americans, but its runway and control tower was not built until January 1972. The following year, the airport officially opened its gates to commercial operation, which was primarily served by AIR ALPES. However, in July 2013, the airport’s operations were suspended, transforming the airfield to a site of business and leisure aviation. You can also fly into the area through the Megève Altiport and the nearby Sallanches Aerodrome. Both airports are about an hour from NCY.
