Qingyuan: Gateway to China’s Great Cities
Many are not familiar with Qingyuan, China. However, this small town has a huge role in China’s geographical landscape. It serves as a gateway to popular cities like Shanghai, Hongkong, Shenzen, and Guandong. For this town, it is all about rice fields and mystical relics from the ancient world. Although the town has a rich history, the city is very young. It was considered a political entity only in the late ’80s. Fly via the Shaoguan Airport (HSC) to get to the quiet and calm city of Qingyuan.
Best Time to Visit
Qingyuan has a subtropical climate. Experience the humidity with seasonal winds all year round. It is ideal to avoid the rainy season from March to August. Fair weather season ranges from September to February. The majority of visitors are coming from nearby cities. They only visit Qingyuan for a day trip. Although this is the case, the town has great collection of hotels.

There is also the Fogant Museum that showcases ancient relics of the town. Feilai Ancient Glacier is a natural preserve attraction and t is a good place to relax.
