Rosolina Mare: One of Northern Italy’s Favorite Summer Destination
Rosolina Mare, Italy is one of the fractions of the town of Rosolina, in the Rovigo Province. It was created back in the 1970s, after the city discovered its potential as a beach holiday. This resort-like area is bordered by a river and sea and is generally a beautiful area to relax in as the village is surrounded by rich vegetation.
Best Time to Visit
The Fiesta del Vento or Kite Festival is held in Rosolina Mare in May. This is also the beginning of summer, so tourists are least likely to still be in the city by then. While there may be available Rosolina Mare, Italy hotels during this season, prices are still pretty high. The slow season in the city begins by the end of summer, particularly in October when temperatures can drop to around 45°F.
What to Do & Area Attractions
The outdoors of Rosolina Mare is truly a sight to see, so don’t forget to explore the Coastal Botanical Gardens in Puerto Calero and the Rosolina Lido Beach, two of the best attractions in town. The five-star Isamar Holiday Village is located just a 44-minute walk away from the shore. It also features a private beach, five restaurants, spa services, and a seasonal outdoor pool, as well. If you prefer a less crowded accommodation, check out Albarella Villa, found around a half-hour drive from the town. The villa features a fully equipped kitchenette, complete with a fridge and a washing machine.
